Nominations open for Cherwell Business Awards

Nominations are open for the Cherwell Business Awards 2020.

The scheme, in its ninth year, recognises individuals and organisations working in Cherwell District.

Award sponsors include the new Oxford Technology Park being built near Oxford Airport.

The awards were officially launched on November 5, at Norbar Torque Tools’ offices in Banbury.

Award categories include: The Innovation Award, sponsored by Oxford Innovation; the Spratt Endicott Established Business Award; Ellacotts’ Business Person of the Year; The Oxford Technology Park New Business Award; and The Nicholsons’ Charity and Community Award.

Other categories are: Bicester Vision, Bicester Chamber and Wednesday Business Club Micro Business Award; The A2Dominion Sustainable Business Award; the Bicester Village Retail Award; and the High Spec Composites Small Business Award.

Finally, Norbar’s overall Cherwell winner will be chosen from finalists across all nine categories.

The awards will be supported heavily across all social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with the hashtag #cbas2020.

The deadline for award nominations is December 20, and the application deadline is February 14.

Applications will be assessed and judged in February and March next year, and finalists listed in April.

The winners will be announced during a gala dinner at Heythrop Park in Chipping Norton on May 15. To apply, or nominate, click here.
